Bob Brunetti
Owner & President
Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Bob attended Broad Run High School before graduating from West Virginia University with a BS in Management Science. After graduation, Bob took over Paintworx from his father, who founded the company, and soon began expanding it. Today, the company operates in Sterling VA, Williamsburg VA, and Portsmouth VA. Bob has since added Custom Home Building (Black Tip Construction) to his resume. Bob has 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren, and enjoys golfing and fishing in his free time.
Jeff Koller
Owner and Vice President
Jeff has nearly four decades of experience in the painting industry, starting in 1986. After joining the company in 1987, he worked his way through every position, giving him a deep understanding of every phase of the business. His expertise spans residential repaints, new homes, high-end custom homes, and commercial projects, with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. He takes pride in his work and values long-term relationships built on trust and quality results. Jeff lives in Winchester, VA with his wife. He has three grown children and a grandchild, and enjoys spending his free time with family and friends.
Michael Montera
Owner & Chief Financial Officer
Born and raised in Long Island, NY, Mike has a BS and MBA from West Virginia University where he met Bob in 1980. He has over 40 years’ experience in finance in both the Government and private sectors. After a long run in the world of corporate finance, Michael left to join Bob at Paintworx in 2011 and has since worked in the construction business for the past 15 years. Michael has three children and is a proud grandfather.
Les Ore
VP - Tidewater Region
With a career spanning more than four decades, Les brings extensive experience across the marine, automotive, and residential construction industries. A native of Virginia Beach, Les has been building custom homes and doing full scale renovations throughout the Hampton Roads area since 2008. He is passionate about bringing projects to life from the ground up and takes pride in creating a lasting impressions for his clients.
Outside of work, Les enjoys boating, bass fishing, and cooking. He has been married for 44 years, has three daughters, and is a proud grandfather of five.
Nick Brunetti
Project Manager
Nick has been working with his father as a project manager for over 10 years. Nick and his wife Caroline live in Leesburg, Virginia with their 2 kids. In his spare time, Nick coaches his kids’ youth sports teams and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Johnny Laguna
Production Manager
Johnny started his career in the painting industry in June of 1990. Over the years, he has built extensive experience working on both commercial and custom residential projects. Through his dedication to quality craftsmanship and customer service, he developed a strong professional relationship with Paintworx as a subcontractor for nearly 25 years.
Four years ago, Johnny transitioned into a direct role with the company and now serves as a manager in Maryland. As a valued member of the Paintworx team, he takes pride in giving his best every day while ensuring clients are satisfied and confident in the quality of the work delivered.
T.J. Wiseman
Service Division Manager
TJ was born in Arlington, Va., and spent his first 13 years there before moving to Berryville, VA, graduating from at Clarke County HS in 1990. After joining and serving in the United States Army, he moved to Winchester, Va., where he met Jeff Koller, He has since been working under his wing since 1994. He currently lives in Winchester with his wonderful wife and two children.
Chris McLaughlin
Vice President – Commercial Painting
With over a decade of experience in commercial painting and specialty finishes, Chris
leads the strategic direction and execution of the Commercial Division. His
expertise spans mission critical environments and large-scale commercial construction
across corporate, retail, automotive, and other complex interior and exterior sectors.
Chris brings a practical, solutions-driven approach to every project, combining strong
industry knowledge with hands-on leadership and long-term client partnerships. He is
known for clear communication, steady oversight, and a consistent focus on quality and
performance.
Under his leadership, the Commercial Division continues to grow its presence in
demanding construction environments while maintaining the highest standards of
professionalism, safety, and craftsmanship.
Carlos Perez
Senior Field Superintendent
With over 30 years of field leadership experience, Carlos brings deep trade
knowledge and disciplined execution to complex commercial projects. He oversees field
performance across active jobs, ensuring operations run efficiently, safely, and to the
highest standards of workmanship.
Carlos excels in large-scale coordination, manpower management, quality control, and
maintaining production momentum in fast-paced environments. His steady leadership
helps ensure projects are executed with precision from start to finish.
Hugo Bracamonte
General Superintendent
Hugo brings extensive field leadership experience in mission critical
environments and complex commercial construction. He has overseen high-
performance projects where precision, schedule discipline, and strict quality control are essential. Known for his strong coordination skills and ability to manage crews efficiently under demanding conditions, Hugo plays a key role in maintaining production momentum
while upholding the highest standards of safety and workmanship. His experience in technically sensitive environments reinforces the division’s strength in mission critical
work.
Maria Sanchez
Project Engineer & Estimator
Maria supports both preconstruction and active projects within the Commercial
Division. As Project Engineer & Estimator, she assists with bid preparation, document coordination, cost tracking, and maintaining organization throughout the project lifecycle. Her attention to detail and strong organizational skills help ensure information is accurate, timelines are supported, and communication remains clear across projects. Maria plays an important role in keeping projects structured and moving smoothly from start to finish.
Alex Perez
General Superintendent
Alex provides field leadership across active commercial projects, focusing on
production efficiency, crew coordination, and maintaining jobsite standards. He brings
practical problem-solving skills and strong on-site awareness to fast-paced construction Environments. Alex plays an important role in keeping schedules aligned and quality expectations upheld, helping drive consistent execution across multiple sectors.
